My passion is to help clients establish smart financial habits that will ensure success for them over the long run.

I especially love helping women entrepreneurs grow the businesses they love. A first step in that endeavor is to serve as their financial partner, so they can develop strength in their businesses while also building the personal financial future they want and need.

I was fortunate. My parents taught me early on the importance of saving and investing–acting now to aim for a benefit later. They started with the rule that half of my allowance for doing chores around the house was mine to do with whatever I wanted, but the other half went into my bank account.

However small the numbers, watching them add up in my little blue bank book became a game to me, and I was thrilled to watch those numbers grow. When I took my first summer job at age 14, I had my priorities straight when payday came because I already understood the true value of a dollar.

My early lessons continue to serve me well as an adult. I started my career about a decade ago in investment banking, where I had the opportunity to learn about project management, mergers and acquisitions, and the capital markets. While working on a trading floor in Manhattan, the opportunities seemed endless, and I learned much about our industry.

Ultimately, I was unfulfilled helping mega banks make money from other mega banks. I needed to find a deeper purpose in my work, and knew I wanted to use my experience to serve others. Again, I was fortunate. My solid financial background allowed me the freedom to leave a lucrative career in favor of finding my own path. Not surprisingly, it has become my mission ever since to help other women build the solid foundation they need to take control over their own lives.
